## Keyword Searches

Keyword Searches let users create reusable searches triggered by a chosen keyword. They are available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Built-in assistance can help create a Keyword Search. Searches can be backed up and restored so the user's custom search collection can be preserved.

Keyword Searches may be useful for:

- searching a frequently used website
- reaching a specialized search quickly
- creating a short keyword for a longer search address
- keeping custom searches available across backup and restore workflows

The result depends on the search address and behavior supported by the destination website.

## Action Extension

The Action Extension is available on iPhone and iPad. It can work with selected text or the current webpage and ask Perplexity for a concise three to four sentence summary.

The Action Extension is not listed as a Mac feature.
