# Scriptable Integration

Documentation last reviewed: 2026-10-02

On iPhone and iPad, 1Extn can send the current Safari webpage to a named Scriptable script. This supports advanced workflows for users who already work with the Scriptable app.

## Availability

- Available on iPhone and iPad
- Not available on Mac
- Requires Scriptable for the destination workflow

## What the Integration Does

- Uses the current Safari webpage as workflow context.
- Sends that context to a Scriptable script selected by the user.
- Lets the Scriptable script determine what happens next.

## Example Uses

- Process the current page with an existing Scriptable workflow.
- Extract information for a personal utility.
- Connect Safari browsing to another user-created process.

## Important Distinction

1Extn provides the connection from Safari to a named Scriptable script. The behavior, permissions, reliability, and output of that destination script depend on Scriptable and the user's code.

## Privacy and Safety

Review Scriptable code before running it. When webpage information is passed to Scriptable or another destination, that destination's privacy terms and permissions apply.
